Amazing Free Vocal Samples – High-Quality

High-quality vocal samples are a rare commodity in today’s age.  The internet is flooded with so many samples its difficult to find the gems amongst them.  Especially when they are free! Hence this list of high-quality free vocal samples.

Over my 12 years as a music producer, I have compiled a whole bunch of free high-quality vocal samples that aided me in my music production journey.  Soul, Future Bass, House, Chops, Female, Male, and many more.  Good vocal samples are like gold!  I would hate to think how many hours in total I have spent hunting for the perfect vocal samples.

How to choose the right Vocal Samples

When choosing the right vocal samples there are a few important things you should consider.

• Bit Depth.  The higher the bit depth the higher the audio quality of the vocal sample.  Try and look for 24 or 32bit vocal samples.  A majority of the vocal samples mentioned in this article are 24bit.
• Tuned Vocals.  Sourcing already tuned vocals will make your life so much easier as you will have to do less vocal processing to achieve your desired result.  Of course, you can add some sort of auto-tune processing to bring them into tune, but why add the extra process if you can find a perfectly tuned vocal sample?
• Clean Vocals.  The quality of the recording is so important.  You know the saying ‘You can’t polish a turd’?  Well, that applies here.  Vocals are the main thing your listeners will be focusing on so you want them to be absolutely perfect.
• BPM and Key Labels.  There is nothing worse than wasting your precious time and inspiration trying to figure out what key or BPM a vocal sample is in.  Good sample creators will put in the time and label each individual sample with the necessary labels.
